Our Story

It started with a realization: losing is only a failure if you don't learn from it.

In March 2024, after a hard-fought congressional campaign in Texas’ 31st District, Mack Latimer and his campaign manager, Tyler Rayner, found themselves at a crossroads. They had played by the old rules, shaking every hand, attending every forum, and trusting the traditional machinery, but they had seen firsthand where the system was broken. They realized that waiting until an election year to find and fund good candidates was a losing strategy. To change the government, you didn't just need better candidates; you needed a better battlefield.

The Foundation

The partnership between Mack and Tyler began in 2021. Mack Latimer, a West Point graduate and former Army Infantry Officer, had just left the Army following a deployment to Syria where he led a platoon. During his service, he also uncovered a significant maintenance scandal back in the United States, proving early on his intolerance for inefficiency and corruption. Upon returning to civilian life in Bell County, he saw a local political landscape that was stagnant.

Tyler Rayner, an Army Supply Sergeant and astute master of logistics, was already working to revitalize the local conservative movement. As President of the Bell County Young Republicans, Tyler was looking for leaders who could turn apathy into action.

When the two joined forces, the results were immediate. They transformed the Young Republicans into a powerhouse of grassroots energy, a shift so significant it led to a changing of the guard in the county leadership. Mack ran for and was elected Bell County Republican Chair, bringing Tyler with him as his Data Director. Then, in 2023, they launched a bid for Congress.

The Turning Point

Though the 2024 congressional bid didn't end in a seat in Washington, it provided something more valuable: a blueprint. Mack and Tyler realized that the most critical battles weren't happening in October of election years. They were being lost years in advance because competent, ethical conservatives lacked the early capital and strategic backing to clear the field.

They sketched out a new vision: TVPAC. The goal was simple but revolutionary: recruit high-quality candidates early, fund them before the opposition can mobilize, and arm them with a clear, modern vision for smaller, more efficient government.

The Team Completes

The vision for TVPAC became a reality when Mack and Tyler attended a Bell County CEC meeting and met Nich Molinelli.

Nich was a force multiplier. A U.S. Army Flight Medic and Rescue Swimmer for Texas Task Force One, Nich had spent a career operating in high-stakes, life-or-death environments. He was also a published author (The Last Draft), bringing a unique blend of operational intensity and thoughtful articulation to the table.

The three men realized instantly that they shared a common DNA. They were all soldiers who had served their country abroad and were now ready to serve their community at home. They saw that Bell County, and Texas as a whole, didn't need more politicians; it needed operators. It needed leaders who understood logistics, strategy, and the unwavering ethical standard of "mission first."

Our Mission Today

TVPAC was born from the conviction that we cannot wait for the "right time" to save our local institutions. We are dedicated to identifying battle-tested conservatives, equipping them with the resources they need to win, and fostering a government that is as efficient, transparent, and accountable as the people it serves.

We aren't just funding campaigns; we are building a bench of leadership for the future of Texas.
